Pet Odor Treatments:
To treat the odors associated with pet stains we offer a highly effective bioenzyme treatment, which involves the introduction of an enzyme digestor which eats the odor-causing matter. However, to be truly effective this treatment must reach the source of the problem.
When dealing with pet stains, there are often several levels of flooring which must be treated: the urine will often go through the carpet, the underpad, the floor under the carpet, and even into the subfloor below the floor. In this case for full odor removal we would recommend the following procedure: .
Carpet : We clean both sides (top and bottom) with a Textile Rinse agent to remove the urine salts which trap moisture and odor-causing bacteria, then treat affected areas with a bioenzyme
Underpad : We discard and replace the soiled underpad.
Floor : Next we clean and treat with bioenzyme, using enough solution to penetrate deep into the floor and treat the subfloor. The floor must then be sealed to prevent any residual pet odors from seeping to the surface.
Subfloor : Inject bioenzyme solution through the floor to treat affected areas.
